MSPs back SNP Government’s £30 billion budget after string of concessions

The Scottish Government’s £30 billion Budget has been passed by MSPs after a string of funding concessions were announced to secure opposition support.

But business leaders and unions hit out at the spending plans, warning they will hit jobs and frontline services.

Concessions on home insulation, boiler scrappage, business support and scrutiny of public spending were set out by Finance Secretary John Swinney in Parliament.
