Pressure grows on Mundell over election spending ‘mistakes’

Scotland’s only Tory MP is under growing pressure to step aside from his Government duties after the discovery of more possible discrepancies in his election expenses.

David Mundell, whose work as Scotland Office minister includes overseeing elections north of the border, is already being investigated by the police after admitting a mistake that broke his spending limit.
