Purcell saga continues as further contracts to Labour donors emerge
The boss of a construction quango set up by disgraced former Glasgow City Council leader Steven Purcell is under intense pressure following another row about contracts to a Labour donor.
City Building (Glasgow) LLP, already criticised over multi-million pound deals with top Labour backer Willie Haughey, awarded a lucrative contract to AS Scaffolding Ltd last year.
The firm and its owners previously contributed around £4,600 to party coffers.
