SNP accused of £140m housing budget cut

The Scottish Government is planning to cut £140 million from its housing budget, Labour has claimed.

It uncovered the scale of the cuts in the Afffordable Housing Investment Programme in a private document prepared by officials to assist local authorities with detailed planning.

However, Housing Minister Alex Neil accused Labour of being “totally dishonest”.
