Service will continue after ferry axed, council pledges

A passenger service across the River Clyde will continue when the Renfrew Ferry is scrapped next month, a council leader has said.

Renfrewshire Council is confident that a new service will be in place on April 1, the day after Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) pulls the plug on the existing service.
