Timetable stokes ferry fears

Fears have been raised over the future of a “vital” Clyde ferry crossing after state-owned operator CalMac admitted doubts over plans to replace it.

In its Explore 2011 brochure covering next summer’s timetables, CalMac warned passengers that the Gourock-Dunoon service may be “subject to change or withdrawal at short notice”.
