Motorists face rush hour traffic chaos after multi-vehicle crash on M8
Motorists faced lengthy delays after an eight-vehicle crash on Scotland's busiest motorway.
The incident happened on the M8 at around 7.00am near junction 16 on the westbound carriageway close to Craighall.
It is understood no one was seriously injured however one person was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with minor injuries after the crash involving eight cars.
Police closed one lane causing major tailbacks and advised motorists to use alternative routes.
