OVERSEAS tourists have been put off coming to the UK during the Olympics because of punitive air taxes, a coalition of business and aviation leaders has claimed.
The group says bookings from Australia and New Zealand are down by 25% compared to the same period in 2011. It follows an 8% increase in Air Passenger Duty.
