London buses no longer take cash

LONDON'S buses will no longer accept cash from today.

Transport for London said the decrease in passengers using money for buses prompted the change. Research said 99 per cent of customers use prepaid tickets or contactless payment cards. People without these forms of payment now cannot travel by bus.
