Ruling on pollution data

EDINBURGH residents who complained about traffic pollution due to tram works have won a partial victory in a bid to have information released by the council.

A committee of the United Nations said City of Edinburgh Council must release "raw" pollution monitoring data to the public. Moray Feu, a group of residents in the New Town, have complained of increased pollution as cars are diverted away from roads along the tram route and on to residential side streets.
