Ryanair to cut Scots routes

RYANAIR'S expansion at Edinburgh Airport is to be thrown into reverse today as the no-frills airline announces cuts to its summer schedule.

The Dublin-based airline has pursued an aggressive programme of expansion at the capital in recent years, helping it to become the UK's fastest-growing airport.

Chief executive Michael O'Leary is due to announce details of the cuts at a press conference in Edinburgh this morning.
