Brittany Ferries was forced to cancel a sailing between Roscoff and Plymouth after the vessel's French crew walked out in protest against planned changes to pay and working conditions.
The 24-hour strike was called just as passengers were preparing to board the England-bound ship with travellers stranded on the quayside following the sudden cancellation.
