£1.2m tax bill for vocal Zuma critic

JOHANnESBURG: Former ANC youth leader Julius Malema, above, President Jacob Zuma's most vocal critic, has been given a $2 million (£1.2m) tax bill days after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Mr Malema, expelled from the ruling African National Congress in April for indiscipline, has supported wildcat strikes at mines.
