Separately, one of his main corporate sponsors, Nike, said it was ending its sponsorship of Armstrong.
Armstrong is expected to lose his record seven Tour de France titles after the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) published a report last week that said he took part in and organised a doping scheme.
