INDONESIA:
An earthquake with an estimated preliminary magnitude of 7.0 struck in the sea 150 km (90 miles) northwest of Ternate, Moluccas, Indonesia,the United States Geological Survey (USGS)said. It placed the epicentre of the quake at a depth of 65 kilometres. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC)said in its bulletin for the quake that there was no tsunami warning in effect.
