Earthquake takes toll on road

Chiang Rai:

An officer measures the dramatic drop on a section of a highway road ripped apart by an earthquake in northern Thailand. The earthquake, of six magnitude, struck on Monday, damaging buildings and roads. There were no reports of any casualties. The earthquake struck 17 miles southwest of the town of Chiang Rai, and was felt in capital Bangkok, about 500 miles to the south.
