Thousands of Elvis Presley-themed items from the kitschy collection of the late Paul MacLeod are going up for auction.
The Elvis super fan, who operated his home as Graceland Too, a roadside museum dedicated to the King of rock 'n' roll, died last summer and his estate is selling memorabilia including albums, ceramic figurines and commemorative plates this weekend. It is also selling Mr MacLeod's pink Cadillac, a non-functioning electric chair he made in a tribute to Jailhouse Rock, and the house itself in Holly Springs, north Mississippi. The museum - not affiliated with Presley's Graceland estate in nearby Memphis, Tennessee - was a late-night favourite of intoxicated college students and tourists.
