PARIS: Former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn is pictured arriving at court to try to ban a new book by author Marcela Iacub on their affair.

In Beauty and the Beast, Ms Iacub says she had a relationship with him last year, in the midst of the scandal over claims he sexually assaulted a hotel maid.

Strauss-Kahn told the court the work was false and had wreaked havoc on his personal life. He is suing Ms Iacub and her publisher Stock for an attack on his private life and to prevent the book from going on sale.
