Government talks collapse in Yemen

Talks to form a new Yemeni government have collapsed over demands by Shi'ite Muslim Houthis to restore fuel subsidies cut by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, pictured. Protests by the Houthis, who have fought for more power for the country's Shi'ite Muslims, were expected as tens of thousands of people massed on the outskirts of the capital Sanaa.
