Hollywood is now on banks of Seine

FRENCH director Luc Besson has unveiled Paris' answer to Hollywood as he opened a 62,000sqm film studio complex on the banks of the River Seine.

The Cite du Cinema, the largest film studio facility built in France, is aiming to attract foreign productions with top-class facilities.

The complex, which cost €170 million (£123m) to build, offers facilities to compare with studios in Berlin, London and Rome – Europe's three largest film centres.
