Illegal drink kills 33 in Kenya


At least 33 people in Kenya have died from drinking illegal liquor, local media and government officials said yesterday. Some 45 people have been hospitalised and several have gone blind.

Television has shown victims writhing in pain in local hospitals where nine people died.

Authorities are still looking for more victims.
