Iran denies role in Bulgaria attack

SOFIA: Iran played no part in the bombing of a bus last year that killed Israeli tourists, its ambassador to Bulgaria has said.

Iranian-backed Hezbollah has been accused of carrying out the July attack, in which five Israeli tourists, their Bulgarian driver and the bomber died. It dismissed the charge as part of a smear campaign by Israel.
