KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said foreign members may be removed from an election watchdog, in a step that could be aimed at bolstering his grip on power.
Two of the five members of the Electoral Complaints Commission, a panel backed by the UN which threw out more than half- a-million votes for Karzai as fraudulent in the 2009 poll, are non-Afghan .
