Kurds dead in car bombing

Jalawla: A car bomb killed two Kurdish Peshmerga recruits yesterday in Jalawla, 70 miles north of Baghdad in a disputed region where the Arab-run Iraqi government and autonomous Kurdistan are caught up in a military stand-off.

The government and Kurds are at odds over oil and land and both have troops in the disputed area.
