PRETORIA: Nelson Mandela left hospital in Pretoria, the capital, yesterday after successful medical tests and returned to his home in Johannesburg.
The 94 year-old former president and anti-apartheid leader, who has become increasingly frail in recent years, spent nearly three weeks in hospital in December. At that time, he was treated for a lung infection and had a surgical procedure to remove gallstones.
