Marburg fever kills three people

KAMPALA: Three people have died in south-west Uganda from an outbreak of Marburg haemorrhagic fever, officials said.

There is no vaccine or specific treatment for the disease, which is a severe and fatal infection. The statement comes just two weeks after the east African nation said it was free of the deadly Ebola virus.
