Media gag lifted in gang rape trial

NEW DELHI: An Indian court has lifted a gag order on the media covering the trial of four men accused of raping and killing a student in Delhi.

The move will shed light on the daily hearings in a case that sparked global outrage. The order was revoked by Delhi High Court following an appeal by an activist lawyer who had called for transparency.
