Opposition says ballot plan flawed

CONAKRY: Guinea's opposition coalition has withdrawn from preparations for long-delayed polls and may stage protests, claiming the run-up to the vote has been flawed, an opposition spokesman has said.

The May 21 election is the last step in the West African country's transition to civilian rule.
