'Pakistan link to suicide bomb'

AFGHAN President Hamid Karzai claims a suicide bombing that wounded his intelligence chief Asadullah Khalid was planned in the Pakistani city of Quetta and said he would raise the issue with Islamabad.

Meanwhile, tribal sources from Pakistan's northwest said a US drone attack killed a senior al-Qaeda commander.

Abu Zaid was killed in the strike in North Waziristan early on Thursday.

Zaid replaced Abu Yahya al-Libi as one of al-Qaeda's most powerful figures in June after Libi was killed by another drone strike.
