Party's bid to force out prime minister

ISLAMABAD:

Lawmakers from Pakistan's third largest party will resign from the parliament to try to force Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down. Shah Mehmood Qureshi of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf said the party - led by former cricketer Imran Khan, pictured, - will resign all 34 of its parliamentary seats and from three out of four provincial assemblies.
