KISUMU: Strongholds of defeated presidential candidate Raila Odinga, above, were peaceful as Kenyans avoided a repeat of the bloodshed that followed the last election five years ago.
Mr Odinga has refused to concede the presidency to rival Uhuru Kenyatta, but will challenge the result in court and urged supporters to refrain from violence.
