Putin in pledge to help lives of group


Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to improve the lives of Crimean Tatars, but signalled the Muslim minority must accept their future lies with Russia after Moscow annexed their Black Sea home from Ukraine. He met them ahead of the 70th anniversary of the group's deportation from Crimea to Soviet Central Asia.
