The Volgo Balt 199, which had 11 Ukrainian and one Russian crew on board, sent an SOS signal yesterday morning but all contact was then lost. The rescue effort is ongoing.

Rescue mission after ship sinks
ISTANBUL: Three crew members have been rescued and nine are still missing after their ship sank in a storm off Istanbul's Black Sea coast.
