CAIRO:
At least six Egyptian security forces personnel were killed by a roadside bomb in the Sinai Peninsula yesterday, sources said. The bomb exploded as a patrol responsible for protecting a gas pipeline passed by, the sources said. Security forces face a jihadist insurgency that has killed hundreds since the army toppled president Mohamed Mursi in July last year.
