TWO suicide attackers, one driving a fuel tanker, blew themselves up near a US base in eastern Afghanistan yesterday, killing at least 13 people.
The attack around dawn happened in the town of Sayed Abad in Wardak province, about 40 miles from Kabul. The Nato coalition said no American or coalition troops were killed, but that a number were injured.
