ISTANBUL:
Turkey has condemned air strikes claimed by the Libyan government on an airport in Tripoli, setting it at odds with the country's internationally-recognised authorities. Last month, Turkey appointed a representative to Libya, becoming the first envoy publicly to meet the parallel government in Tripoli, fuelling suspicions it is advancing a pro-Islamist regional agenda.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
