FORMER world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has been banned from visiting New Zealand, the country which inspired his Maori-based facial tattoo.
The government cancelled Tyson's visa after a charity which would have benefited from an event Tyson was due to attend withdrew its support in protest. The U-turn came days after Prime Minister John Key spoke out against Tyson's visit.
