Biography

Euan Burton made his Olympic debut in Beijing in 2008, and progressed from that event to victory at the 2009 World Cup in Birmingham.  He began judo aged six and had gained a black belt by the time he was 16.

He was named judo's British Olympic Association Olympic Athlete of the Year in 2007.
