Biography
Mark started playing volleyball in 5th year at school in a lunchtime club. Not long after he started training with Team Fife and, after a season, was asked to attend Scottish national team training.
He then spent a season each with City of Edinburgh and City of Glasgow Ragazzi, then moved to Sheffield to train full-time with the GB team. From there, he went on to Holland with the GB squad to play as Martinus in the Dutch A league, and most recently has been with the Avignon club in France.
Mark, a middle blocker, won his 100th GB cap in June, but this is his first Olympics.
