Alex Salmond highlights the deceit which was at the core of Tony Blair's iniquitous decision to plunge the UK into an illegal and unnecessary war against Iraq (10 years after the start of the war in Iraq - why we have to take heed of its terrible lessons, The world, March 17).
Iraq is still suffering from the aftermath of that war. We must bring to justice those whose lies were responsible for unleashing so much misery, death and destruction.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
