WITH Rangers chairman Dave King recognising only two of the most recent of Celtic's six consecutive Premiership titles, and Jeremy Corbyn, with 60 fewer parliamentary seats than the Conservatives, having polled almost one million fewer votes, acting as if he had won the General Election, it would seem that fake arithmetic has joined fake news in public discourse.
Accordingly, I have decided to adjust the figures for my age, weight, tax return and golf handicap.
The possibilities of computative flexibility are tempting if one is prepared to ignore fact.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
