REGARDING the letter (April 18) from Peter Broughan on Hampden Park, I fully agree with his points. The stadium has no redeeming features whatsoever, and for it to be considered a national asset is nonsense.

I stopped paying money to the SFA when one of the best central defenders Scotland has had in the last 50 years was effectively dropped from the national team because he criticised the coaching staff, Andy Roxburgh and Craig Brown. I must admit to being on the opposite side of the Blue/Green line to Mr Broughan, but if his visits to Hampden are not pleasant, mine are probably worse, certainly in recent years.
