IS time playing tricks with us? Did the clock move forward days rather than an hour?

First, we had a report of Scotland in March reaching 20C, the highest temperature in the UK (“Scotland basks in the highest temperature across the UK”), then we had the story about the cheery cows (“Laughing cows jump for joy as they head out to the fields for a summer in the sun”) and, finally, we were invited to imagine the picture of a playful Margaret Thatcher kicking her shoes off in 1983 when she sat in the chair of The Herald’s news editor (“Those were the days”, all The Herald, March 27).

With all of that, is it possible to suspend disbelief so far? Did March 27 somehow morph into April 1?
