YOUR Poem of the Day feature is one of my favourite parts of The Herald, and so I support its continued choice of any material that makes me stop and wonder (Letters, May 20).

Wordsworth, a lad with ability,

Didn't see poems' roots in civility.

Verses rhyming or free

Are still poetry

If "emotion recollected in tranquillity."
