The pantomime season is upon us: Spotlight Youth Theatre presents Beauty and the Beast at Alloa Town Hall.
I WAS so pleased to read that the pantomime featuring my eldest son, Steven Rae (his stage name) is being well received (Letters, December 13). When rehearsals started, a brief telephone conversation was abruptly ended with Steven, who plays Ricky’s mum, Senga, saying: “Sorry, Dad, got to go and be fitted for a bra.” A chat to remember. Looking forward to the show next week.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
