TWO teenage robbers escaped with cash and a mobile phone after attacking a man near a Farningham service station.

The 21-year-old London man had just parked his van at the side of the road near the WJ Kings Garage, in London Road, when he was assaulted by the two youths.

While one of the attackers had the man pinned against the van, the other opened the van door and stole a mobile phone and approximately £500.

After the pair escaped, the man drove to a nearby phone booth to call the police. He was not seriously injured and did not need medical attention.

The first youth was 17 years old, black, 5ft 6in tall with short black hair and long sideburns. He was wearing blue faded jeans at the time.

The second man was black, 17 years old, 6ft 5in tall with a stocky build. His hair was cropped short with long sideburns and he was wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt.
