A TEAM of Millwall Lionesses with an average age of 17 started the defence of the CSI Womens FA Cup with a 6-0 victory against Cardiff County.
The Lionesses made the trip to Taffs Well FC with a list of injuries, illness and suspension, forcing them to use some of their younger recruits.
Tina Lindsay opened the scoring with a cracking shot from the edge of the area.
The score remained 1-0 until after the break when Millwall's superior fitness began to tell. They went on to score five more through twins Carly and Gemma Hunt, 14-year-old striker Jessica Smith, Katie Chapman and Lindsay who completed a brace.
The Lionesses now face Whitehawk Ladies in the fifth round (last 16) on February 1.
