Cabinet moves

ANDREW Mitchell, the Secretary of State for International Development, will be made the Coalition's Chief Whip today as David Cameron conducts a widespread reshuffle that will "bring on a new generation of MPs".

The 56-year-old right-winger will replace Patrick McLoughlin, who could move to another Cabinet role.

The Prime Minister is also expected to swap Conservative co-chairmen, Baroness Warsi and Lord Feldman, for a single chairman, current Housing Minister Grant Shapps.
