The Prime Minister hopes his meetings with Manmohan Singh, his Indian counterpart, and President Pranab Mukherjee will help seal a number of multimillion-pound deals in sectors from health to defence.
Mr Cameron said he wanted the relationship between Britain and India to be "one of the great partnerships of the 21st century".
