Holyrood at odds with Westminster on human rights

SCOTLAND has adopted a "mature" attitude to human rights, while the UK sees the issue as "toxic", according to a leading expert.

Professor Alan Miller, who chairs the Scottish Human Rights Commission – which today, the 63rd International Human Rights Day, celebrates three years in existence – believes the differing approaches could lead to a constitutional crisis on the issue.
